Why rent the Street Bob on the Gulf Coast?
The Street Bob is the more approachable of the two SUNZiO bikes. It runs the Milwaukee-Eight 117 in the lightest of Harley’s Softail chassis — 646 lb in running order, a 25.8-inch laden seat height and a 3.5-gallon tank — stripped back to mini ape-hanger bars and a bobbed rear fender, with a 19-inch front wheel that makes it turn in easily. That combination is forgiving in Lakewood Ranch Main Street traffic and still comfortable on a long run down Gulf Drive.
It suits a rider who wants the Harley experience without managing a heavyweight tourer — confident solo riders, anyone coming back to riding after a few seasons off, and riders who plan to cover real distance along the coast rather than park at the end of it.

The Street Bob is booked through Riders Share, which checks your license and motorcycle endorsement, carries the insurance for the trip and takes the payment. The listed rate is $90 a day with 450 miles a day included and $0.25 a mile after that, and riders must be 25 or over. Helmets and gear can be added at checkout.
